HOW TO USE FOR START UP

For best results always Balance water prior to treatment. For Startup first adjust pH to 7.2-7.6 range, then follow shock treatment directions on the package or as follows: Add 10-20 oz per 10,000 gallons of water, by broadcasting directly into the pool, to achieve 5-10 ppm available chlorine. Repeat as needed until water is clear of any visible algae. Test water before entry into pool, free available chlorine should be in the 1-4 ppm range.

HOW TO USE FOR MAINTENANCE DOSE

For Unstabilized pools 6-8 oz of this product per 10,000 daily or as often as needed, by broadcasting directly into the pool, to maintain a 1-4 ppm free available chlorine reading. For Stabilized Pools using Poolife Stabilizer and Conditioner add 3-4 oz per 10,000 every other day or as needed to maintain a 104 ppm free available chlorine reading.
